Get the best of both worlds: a full-frame mirrorless camera with access to Leica M-mount glass.
This Leica SL (Typ 601) represents Leica's first full-frame mirrorless camera, introduced in 2015. The SL system marked Leica's entry into professional autofocus cameras, featuring a 24MP CMOS sensor and weather-sealed magnesium body.
The included L-to-M adapter enables mounting of Leica's M-mount rangefinder lenses on the SL body. This adapter maintains proper registration distance and infinity focus, though M-mount lenses operate in manual focus mode. The SL's electronic viewfinder provides focus peaking and magnification tools that make manual focusing with vintage glass straightforward.
The SL system bridges Leica's rangefinder heritage with modern autofocus capability. The camera accepts native L mount lenses, including SL/TL lenses, for full autofocus performance, while the L-to-M adapter expands compatibility to decades of M-mount optics. The 4.4MP electronic viewfinder remains one of the highest resolution finders available.
This example shows minimal wear consistent with careful use. The camera fires reliably, autofocus operates smoothly with native lenses, and the electronic viewfinder displays clearly. The L-to-M adapter threads cleanly and locks securely.
No modifications have been made to this camera. All components remain in original factory specification.
Minor wear at the base of the camera.
No service history is provided.
