The Leica Q2 builds on the incredibly popular Q Typ 116, and remains a highly capable camera in 2026 due to its 47.3-megapixel sensor, Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH. lens, and improvements to weather sealing, all while retaining the Leica aesthetic. While the 28mm focal length is opinionated, the Q2 is versatile for any situation: ideal for travel, competent on the street, great for macro down to 17cm, and even video at 4K. Digital crop modes at 35mm, 50mm, and 75mm give you four focal lengths from a single weathersealed body with no lens changes and no compromises at the native 28mm. IP52 dust and water resistance, a 3.68-million-dot OLED viewfinder, and an electronic shutter reaching 1/40,000s round out a spec sheet built for all-day use in any condition.

But the most appealing feature may be the simplicity. No interchangeable lenses, reliable autofocus, and a camera you can simply take out and shoot. Aperture clicks through full stops on the lens barrel, the shutter speed dial offers tactile detents on the top plate, and there are no mode wheels or deep menu trees. The Summilux 28mm f/1.7 is among Leica's finest glass, and the Q2 is the only way to pair it with autofocus. A previous Q2 winner on Summimarket said their only regret was not buying one years ago.

This example presents in excellent cosmetic condition with a UV filter installed since new to protect the front element. Offered as a complete package: original Q2 box and packaging, Leica SF 40 flash with box and accessories, Leica handgrip, Op/Tech Hood Hat, Peak sling bag, filters, and SD card.

Modifications

No modifications have been made to this camera. All components remain in original factory specification.

Known Flaws

Minimal wear consistent with careful use. A UV filter and rear screen protector has been installed since new, protecting the front lens element as well as the rear LCD screen. The seller will include an extra screen protector. Bidders should review photos closely and are encouraged to request additional detail from the seller.
