It keeps the fully mechanical cloth focal plane shutter (1s to 1/1000s plus Bulb), a 0.72x rangefinder with coated optics and improved flare resistance over the original, and TTL center-weighted metering via LED indicators in the viewfinder. The meter now adds a center dot for correct exposure alongside the original arrow indicators, plus a battery warning. All mechanical functions work without batteries, and the camera accepts any M-mount lens.

This example is factory-sealed in its original packaging, with all documentation and accessories. The camera has never been opened or handled, maintaining new-in-box condition as delivered from Leica's Wetzlar factory.
